Tealight candle

Category:

Description

The clay pots are made today by the Paravicino family of craftsmen with indigenous roots from Cuzco in a small domestic workshop in Lima. The tealight holders, also usable as incensorios (incense burners), are skillfully hand-painted with a brush made of cat hair.

The typical Pisaq pattern goes back to the ancient cosmology from birth, the creation of living beings and nature to the demise of the universe of a people who lived with nature and oriented their life according to the course of nature. This is reflected in the variety of patterns in our unglazed clay pots.0
